Suspect Charged With Murder For Shooting Of 35-Year-Old Woman In Baltimore: Police

A man has been arrested for the murder of a 35-year-old woman in Baltimore, police said.

Reginald Peay, 30, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, Baltimore Police said Monday, March 25.

Peay, of Baltimore, is accused of fatally shooting Lenora Alston near the 1000 block of Fulton Avenue on Friday, March 15.

Alston was found wounded from gunfire shortly after 2:15 a.m. and was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

Peay was already being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility on a handgun violation. He was officially charged on March 21 and is being held without bail.
